kinfolk-1-7

Sorry for the blog silence last week! Thank goodness for My Better Half to keep at least some content coming. We're busy getting ready to launch Volume 3 (proofs pictured) and to send Volume 4 off to the presses among other things....all very exciting!

P.S. I was able to meet Emily Kastner and her husband Dan this weekend for lunch at Zingermans. They came in for a quick Ann Arbor trip, and we're so glad they did! What a fun couple...we love meeting other blogging Michiganders and making new friends.

P.P.S. You can see the new what to wear post I did for Oh Happy Day here.

P.P.P.S. A comment was made a while back that said my blog was hard to read because of the font size. Has anyone else felt this way? Making type small is a habit of mine. :) Thanks for your feedback!

  5. Love your blog, but I have to agree that the font is very hard to read... But I am approaching 30, so maybe it's my old age ;)

  10. I don't mind the font. Some people might have their screen zoomed too far out making it smaller?

I cannot wait for volume 3 of kinfolk. Very exciting! Every issue is always so stunning!

  11. Yay for the new issue! I am a fairly new reader and a huge admirer of your work. You actually made me consider applying for a master in graphic design. Amaaaazing!!!
The font looks great, but is in fact a tiny bit too tiny for the easy reading pleasure ;)

  13. Horray for all the new issues! I had a friend tell me she thought my font size was a little small, and I ended up increasing it. In the end, it's all relative!

  15. I'm so excited for the new issue. I was thrilled to see copies in the Williams and Sonoma in my home town. I had no idea they were getting picked up like that!

(In my opinion, the font is great on our new PC and our Mac but on the old PC at my work.. . it's very tiny looking.)

  16. Congrats on the new issue of Kinfolk! I work in publications and hard proofs are my favorite — the smell if ink and paper is great.

  17. It doesn't bother me--I like tiny type--but I also usually make mine bigger than I want because I get paranoid that no one will be able to read it. :) (I love the tiny type on the Kinfolk site as well.) Can't wait to see the print version!! Whee!
